Dr. Ana VazquezDr. Ana is one of Indiana's most respected authorities in pediatric dentistry specializing in comprehensive dental care of infants, children, adolescents, and individuals with special healthcare needs. She is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry as well as a consultant on the AAPD Council of Clinical Affairs. She received her Bachelors Degree in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico (UPR) in 1984 where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.
In 1988, she graduated from UPR’s Dental School with a Doctor of Medicine Degree and went directly into the pediatric residency program at Indiana University. After graduation, Dr. Ana went immediately into practice as well as teaching at the School of Dentistry at Indiana University.
Dr. Ana’s life focus is on children! “I enjoy being a pediatric dentist because I love the kids,” says Dr. Ana, who likes sharing hugs and chats with her small patients. “I believe that one of life’s greatest pleasures is a child’s smile; I could not ask for a greater reward.”
She
not only treats and influences the lives of our local children, but she
is an active participant in dental mission work worldwide. Some of her
areas of focus include Puerto Plata, Ixtapa, Puerto Vallarta, and
Cancun, Mexico. Dr. Ana makes a first impression that will last a
life-time!
When
not creating little smiles, Dr. Ana’s life revolves around her husband,
four children, and training for triathlons and other events.
